The programme
Offshore miles on a classic yacht.
Seraph is a fully restored classic wooden schooner based in Phuket. Every partner departure is a live-aboard passage through the Andaman Sea: watch systems, night sailing, pilotage and the kind of seamanship that only comes from going somewhere.
What each candidate accumulates
Miles that count. Experience that shows.
RYA and IYT schools send candidates to us when classroom learning needs to become logged sea time.
Qualifying sea miles
Offshore nautical miles logged in tidal waters that count towards RYA Yachtmaster requirements.
Night hours & watch systems
Genuine night sailing and rotating watches — not daylight coastal hops — to satisfy night-passage and watchkeeping criteria.
Skipper & command time
Each candidate rotates through passage-planning, pilotage, close-quarters handling and the daily responsibilities of command.
Signed logbook certification
A completed and signed record of the passage, ready to support Yachtmaster Coastal, Offshore or Ocean applications.

We work with recognised training centres, not against them. Pricing and commission structures are agreed one-to-one, so every partnership fits the way your school operates.

Partner departures run throughout our operating season, when European schools are often closed and your candidates are free to travel.
All itineraries are subject to weather and marine forecasts. Final passage plans are confirmed during the pre-departure briefing.
