Take command in daylight in familiar waters. Passage planning, pilotage, anchoring and man-overboard drills, with the boat handed to you.

Before you book.
Do I need experience to start?
No. Competent Crew assumes you have never been on a yacht. We start with the basics on day one.
Is the certificate recognised outside Asia?
Yes. RYA certificates are the international standard and are accepted by charter companies worldwide.
What is included in the price?
Tuition, accommodation aboard, all meals on board, harbour and fuel costs, and course materials. Flights and certification fees are additional.
When is the best season?
November to April offers the most reliable conditions in the Andaman Sea, though we sail year-round.
